    Hi all

Have been told that I need a new cam position sensor for my A4 1.6 1997.

This part is hard to find, does anyone know bosch part number or OEM part number for this?

Or, anyone know where to get one from cheap.... I 've looked on Ebay and there is one from america but min. engine size 1.8, and not sure if this will work on my car???? Any ideas?

    Regards

Probably hard to find because it does not exist ?
An 8 valve single cam engine does not need one, the can timing never changes.
Who said you need one ?
What are the symptoms of your being "faulty" ?
What is your engine type code ? (first three letters of the engine number on your V5)
