A5 2.7 TDi multitronic gearbox issue

I've got an A6 2.7TDI with the multitronic box so when we went shopping for the A5 for the Mrs it was logical to go for the same combo.

Pretty much the past 2 weeks she has complained of lack of power despite revs showing ok and on Friday it gave up the ghost . Normal engine revs are there but there is no forward or backward motion at all and even trying using the paddles makes no difference.

Car had to be taken back to Edinburgh Audi who have yet to report on their findings, RAC guy said he thinks gearbox is ****** but with just 2650 miles on the clock I'd be darn shocked if it was the case.

Anyone else had any issues ?

I have seen this fault and its caused by temporary sticking valve chest.
Debris fouls the valve chest and passes through the oil system into the filter this normally happens below 3000 miles and once its passed causes no further issues
