I've got comms pack2 in A6 Avant 08 plate and I can't get the CD names or track names to show up. Tried the setting to enable CD text, but this doesn't work. Spoke to Crawley Audi about this and the girl on the service desk said it was the CD software? Eh? First I've heard of CD's having embedded software on them and I'm an IT Software Test Manager. She must have been talking about the file extensions on the tracks. Iv'e tried all manner of CDs, old, new and one's I've burnt songs onto, but still no luck. Friend at work has a TT (57 plate) and her husband has an A5 (08 plate), the CDs in both cars display CD title and track titles. Any one had this problem or know how to resolve it

    Thanks

Are we talking normal original shop bought CD's or MP3 CD's?

Not all original CD's support CD Text, espcially older ones.

Just burn them as MP3's and the text will show up fine in an 08 car. The 06 CD changer doesnt support MP3 ability so you'll need a new changer.
