Newbe buying advise

Hi

I currently drive a Focus ST with a 265bhp remap.

I am looking to buy a 2005/2006 A4 3.0tdi but not sure how the engines differ from the current ones.
Can't decide on manual or auto.
Also does anyone have performance figures for 204 and 229bhp cars after a remap?
Will the 3.0tdi be quick enough or should I go for the S4?
Any advise would be appreciated.

I know when I got my Passat remapped there was a chap with a new A4 3.0 TDi and it got really good results from it. I cant remember the figure at the top of my head but they managed to get just under 190 from my 1.9TDi so a 3 litre should smash it!
