    alright guys

    got my new alpine head unit in and working now got my hands on a nice little active vibe sub. going to have a crack at running the wiring tomorow night after work. whats the best way to get the power cable from the battery in to the car ? what grommets are there ect ?

    The easiest route is through the ECU cover, there's even a spare grommet on the rubber boot carrying all the other cables. Prise up the top and it drops straight down into the drivers footwell.

    where abouts will i find the ecu and cover ect ? not long had the car and dont know where the bits and bobs are yet where abouts do i look to find the gromets ect ?

    asking alot of questions i know but trying to make this hasstle free for the task tonight

    It's the big plastic box under the drivers wiper, far left of engine bay up by the bulkhead. This pic shows the ECU with the cover off and the ECU partially removed. You can see the red 8 gauge power cable on the right, just out of shot is the grommet that you can use on the big rubber boot for it to enter the ECU.
