Vito's are crap mate. Saw a rusty 04 plate the other day. Go for VW. One will come along. Just got to be patient.

I run an m reg 1.9 t4 1900 non turbo transporter, its got solid bulkhead,1 piece up n over rear door~gr8 for wet weather and side loading door,I bought it 3 yrs ago for £2500 on 81,000 miles,it has 125,000 on it now,its doesn`t use a drop of oil between oil changes,I use it every day for work, its always been 100% reliable, all I`ve done to it in my ownership is fit a waterpump/stat/glowplugs/exhaust and 1 tyre.I wash it every week,it is not a rustbucket,it has passed its last 3 mot`s with flying colours,I will be marketing this van next year for £1200 with tax and mot,the only trouble is too many of these vans get lowered and made into surf vans and have stupid prices attatched to them.
By the way we ran a Merc 408 and did mx for 6 years~what do you ride,
    125 or 250`s?

I have 2 t4's 1 1900td and 1 2500tdi 88bhp blue eye buy a tdi if you can better on fuel and pull much much better they also sound great with that 5 pot lump. The 1.9 is ok just need to be worked harder hence more fuel used.

trouble is ive not seen any 2.5,s around? seen a couple of 19d and a couple of 19.tdi been told the 1.9 tdi is a bit sluggish on hills so i guess this would also mean its going to be sluggish when towing (car trailer and car)

my old passat 110 is a beast at towing for a 1.9 im amazed at how well it pulls even with 300k on the clock!

if i could get a 19 tdi to pull as well as that i,l be very happy

The T4 1.9 is the old indirect engine and only makes approx 68hp it will tow a trailer ours does 1500kg cherry picker but it struggles with hills.

A thought Nissan vannette cargo 2.3d (or LDV equ.)not fast but pull trailers well and has good driving position I had one and it just Kept going and going can be a little thirsty if flogged but cheap.
