Electric Window Switch

Hi,
My electric window switch went faulty, after taking it apart i found the fault, so ive been looking around for a new one on ebay etc for ages as mine only have front electric windows but every1 else seems to be 4 door electric windows.

I bought one from an 07 plate vw passat, it looked the same on the picture as mine off ebay, just want to double check this is compatiable with mine?

I have a mk5 04 plate golf, this should be the same right??

I am sorry to sound ratty here but for heavens sake man, it is a 2004 car and you are messing around with second hand bits when a brand new genuine switch from VW is £17.49 inc. VAT, part number 1K3 959 857 A REH. Yes it is the same as a Passat with front electric windows only.

oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooops i didnt enquire at VW as i was told they were expensive. My mistake i know for next time. Least it will fit an i didnt make a complete mistake lol

seriously though. Like above said. Always check the dealers. They're often competitive on things you would never think of.
