    I have a ticking over problem where i get a cycle of struggling which i can feel through the car but the rev counter is stationary can anyone throw any light on the subject please,also my temp gauge is going up and down like a yoyo,but i have changed it so it cant be the sensor????,also it is a diesel

    hi Have you checked your pencil coils these do have problems.
    EURO parts do these for I think about £20.0
    To check when running pull of one at a time the engine should change note if the coil is ok.

    more than likley it will be a coil pack... ie a slight misfire..

    Get it onto vag com and see which ones failing.. then replace it...
