rear interior door handle not working

The drivers side rear door handle does not open the door from the inside, i have changed the child lock but still does not work. when you pull the handle there does not seem to be any resistance.

could anybody tell me how i remove the handle ? or any ideas of what might be the problem.

The bowden cable on the inside of the door may have come loose or snapped. Remove the door trim and have a look. It should be easy to see if the cable is attached or not.
