Most of my music is in MP3 format on CDs, I dont really want to change out the RCD 300 as it matches the interior of the Passat very nicely.

an RCD 300 with MP3 disk playing capability is available from VW (or so it says in the Manual), does any body out there know of any kind of firmware update available to allow the standard unit to play MP3 tracks?

i am considering buying an ipod for MP3 and also connecting a Bluetooth car kit for automute and using the car speakers for the telephone. What is the best kit available to do this?

    cheers.
