As I mentioned in a previous post, I find the ride quality of my S-Line 2.0 TDI Saloon particularly harsh on the motorway. The characteristic I am keen to eliminate is the bouncy sensation when travelling over uneven motorway surfaces at speed, which in turn has a jarring effect for driver and passengers alike.

I have spoken to a couple of different performance specialists and have been recommended Koni FSD shocks as a potential solution. One place also recommended I take an Eibach spring upgrade at the same time which would further improve the ride quality.

Obviously this is a big decision and significant cost. I realise that suspension is subjective to an extent, but has anyone else tried Koni FSDs or the FSD / Eibach combo and what are your experiences of the motorway ride quality and comfort Vs standard?

    Many thanks in advance.

Your description exactly matches what I found with a loan S line Avant. My SE rides well, so standard suspension could be an answer but I guess not the one you hoped for.
