I went I seen the car earlier today and it it had dent marks & scratches over it, the front bumper had been dented & resprayed and the rear bumper was bad it needed to be completely resprayed. The dealer was asking £4500 for it, no dealing with him so I walked away, my opinion the car was not worth the money.

I then saw another Bora a 2000 Bora 1.9 TDI 100 S (base model - steel wheels, no air-con, standard interrior) with only 60k on the clock, full VW service history and the interrior was like new and under the bonnet the engine looked new, dealer was asking £3100. The car had a few scuff marks around one of the wheel arches, but apart from that the body work was in pretty good nick for an 8,9 year old car.

Anybody any opinions on this 2000 Bora, is it worth the money?
Also is there anywhere were you can buy a cheap set of the original Bora alloys just incase I go for it or does anyone have a set for sale.
I would hang on for a 130bhp to be honest. The 100bhp is ok but the 130 is the one to have even over the 150bhp for reliability. There are plenty of cars out there. Be prepared to travel a bit and you will get yourself a nice one. I have just looked on Autotrader and there are 03 plate 130's with 40- 60k on the clock from £3.5k to £4.5k.

I have PM'd you an example...
