I was kidding aswell, hence the smiley. There are people on here who do take different typecases and fonts as depicting your mood. Just take the banter with a pinch of salt, there tends to be a lot but more importantly there's loads of good, helpful and most importantly money saving advise on here.

No prob euroslap, I never took offense with your pic, I was just making a point. It simply amazes me that some people choke over the style of text used (whilst overlooking the tone/content of what is being written)

The fact that Hex was replying to my request for help and advice was not lost on me !
I am grateful to all people who help, thats what the forum is for.

    Regards,
    Russ

I'm not sure if the battery was disconnected but is definately a dash out job.
I'll ask him how he did it, what he did, and didnt disconnect.
If all fails, will take it to the ******** for a diagnosis.
    Thanks,
    Russ

If I were you I'd be careful about the use of the word *******. Put it in the search bar and look for the thread where Crasher explains why this term shouldn't be used, it opened my eyes. It's not wise to cheese off the most helpful people on the board, especially when looking for advice. A lot of the guys on here have their own garages and are part of the VAG network.
Reading your posts, I won't help you even if I knew the answer to your question. They'd probably have you banned.

OMG, Primo, you need to get yourself a life mate
When I use the term *******, it is a tongue in cheek term, used because main dealers are known to charge unreasonably high prices, and thus have a bad name because of that.
Its also a term which I discovered by using this site, and used by many posters.
Christmas quiet in your house ?
