    Hi.

    Mk4 Golf GTi T - AGU/KO3 c/w Forge 007P and relocation kit.

    My question is...

If my Forge 007P was sticking somehow, or if I had a leak somewhere on my relocation kit... could this account for my boost gauge needle twitching (it twitches/shakes rapidly at idle sometimes).

Also, could this have anything to do with the car cutting out on me do you think?

    Thanks

It'd explain the gauge fluttering but I'd check for a leaky/dislodged vacuum hose for the cutting out.

    Hi.

    Cheers for the response.

Well I've had a VAG charge system pressure test done... and everything's shown up fine.

Isn't there a vac hose connecting to the DV? What i'm thinking is... if this were leaking (because I think the DV was disconnected somewhere when the pressure test was done) could this account for both? Coz this would explain how the pressure test missed it I suppose.

I've spent a fortune trying to figure out what's causing my car to cut out. After cleaning the Forge and still having no look... I'm thinking of removing it and the relocation kit and going back to stock DV just to them both from my list of possible causes.

    Thanks again

Yes there is a vacuum line attached to the DV, I suppose this would be the first port of call as it's been moved to fit the 007. Check that it hasn't split whilst fitting or come adrift afterwards.
