Thinking of a remap on my 130 tdi, noticed the insurance goes up 100notes

on a standard looking car ,standard alloys ,no tints etc

what are the chances "if" i have a major crash how detectable is the remap &

how much do the insurance people look into things like this..

Most re-maps are hidden from they .. they could only see car has been re-mapped by data logging the bosst etc.. And they dont do that sort of thing..

Stay away from re-chips as they can see them.

Not telling you not to tell they.. But try telling them its a ECO and it will gain on power and responce but its to gain on MPG...

yup remaps are fairly undetectable, the only people who can find it really are the people who put it there!

not even main dealers know any different, aslong as it is remapped using the original ECU and not a new chip then you will be just fine matey. go for it!

REVO are pretty good, £399 will the price full the full job.
