B5 TDI Avant Suspension Kit

Looking for a bit of advice here, my recently purchased A4 (B5) 110 TDI Avant is in need of a suspension refurb.

In the very recent past some bright spark has replaced the rear dampers with Boge Turbo gas non adjustables and what appears to be lowered rear springs. The front end though has been left as standard with goosed shocks (147,000 miles ) and standard springs.

As a result it is dragging its A*** along the road, the front end is pointing up to the heavens and handles like a drunken hippo.

I'm not looking for a fully adjustable kit and don't want to lower the car more than 35 to 40 mm all round.

The choice seems to be the Bilstein Streetline kit, the Koni STR T kit or the non adjustable SPAX kit all of which are in the £230 to £260 price range.

Has anyone on the forum experience with any of these kits ?

I know it is never going to handle like my Corrado or my old Ibiza cupra but at the minute it's worse than my works van

sorry I can't help with those kits, but my Weitec kit is very good, and it gives a good ride too

Turns out that the car had new BOGE gas shocks and KYB springs fitted in June, the problem is that the rear springs are those for the lighter saloon and guess what ? BOTH of the lower spring pigtails had snapped in the cups.
Bought a KONI STR.T kit and have sorted the rear along with the sticking calipers and rusted away ABS rings so I only have the front end kit to fit now.
