    Hi folks,
What's the answer? I've put two new rear wiper on the car but they both, after a very short time, stop clearing the top part of the rear screen. ( the last wiper blade was a Skoda part).Do they all do this?

It's a problem due to the curvature of the screen. Check you got the correct genuine part as some have a 'curved' profile to help.

Also, check the pivot and spring on the arm, as if the spring has lost some tension that will do it. You could fit a new arm.

Sometimes I have carefully bent the top part of the wiper arm to put more pressure on the top part of the blade and that has worked.

Also you can get flat blade conversions, these do the trick as they don't have the metal backing and are very flexible. Get a good quality one though.

Lots of options for you there!

    Greg.
