Where are these sensors? O2 - Lambda / MAF / ABS wheel speed rear left

Hi My cousin has a VW Polo 1.0 51 reg 2001 which has a few problems.

I am going to replace both sensors but want to where they are located - anyone with any pictures to where they are? Any guides on removal?

Does a Polo have a MAF - mass air flow sensor? If so where would it be?

Hi,

Did you ever get a response to this? Have an error on my polo - think its the lambda sensor - got a ODB11 conectort but cannot find suitable driver

Any clues?

1. - I had a lamba sensor fault on my 01 polo 1.4, but it was caused by a by a faulty temp sensor. This reads the temp of your coolant. A VW specialist ran VAG COM on my car - I had this error and the lambda sensor too. If the temp sensor is faulty it doesn't work right, so the lambda sensor picks up the fault, it is actually working fine, its reading the fault cos the temp sensors not doing its job. They replaced the temp sensor - £30 fitted, that worked fine, only 5 minutes to change - the lambda sensor costs about £90 and there are more than one, when you fix one, the other reports a fault - get the temp sensor and hopefully it should sort things out, for £30 its worth a try!

2. - don't think there is a MAF on this POLO - thank god cos they always become faulty

3. - Try removing the fuse wires in the box fixed to the top of the cars battery, the ABS is attached here and if there are any cracks get a new one, only a few pounds, but might be worth checking first before making expensive fixes!
