gt tdi 130 climatronic not working

my oil level sensor needed replacing i got it checked when i got my car back from my local garage my climatronic wasnt working then he said my outdoor temp sensor needed replacing so i had them both replaced still no climate control. my screen is just blank not light up it not do nothing just woundering if any can help me?

Take it back to the garage who broke it! They bu&&erd it up, they are legally liable to fix it without any cost to you! Period.

i cant prove it because my dad picked it up for me and he didnt see if it was working as i was working away when i got in my car a week later it wasnt working the week when we had the week of very cold wheather

Then get your dad to sort it out!

Have you actually tried the "off" switch???

Or learn a very important lesson: who ever takes a car/van/watch/microwave/toaster in for service or repairs - must be the same person who collects it on completion of said works!

I really don't see what the problem is. You took your motor in for some work for an oil level sensor, gave no authorisation for work on the heater/air conditioning, and yet you get car back with $hagged air-con. You have upto six months before you need to prove liability - less than that, and the garage are deemed liable by default. Any hassle, then get in touch with Consumer Direct - Google for fone number!

Did you get it fixed? Did you have to send the lads round with large sporting ball hitting implements? What was the prob?

My crystal ball is rather cloudy in this cold weather!

i owe bigcol an apology i took it down to vw they said it was a fuse i checked them 3 times so did the garage thanks for all the help
