19's info on a b5.5 TDi Passat...

hi guys

Ive got a 2001 Passat TDi 130 SE b5.5 and im thinking of buying some 19" alloys

I have been to a couple of places and they are struggling to find the wheels i want for my car as they say it has a dodgy ofset of 45 or something (Dont quite understand lol)

Basicly i want someone to give me a definate answer of what i need to buy for my car.

All i know is i need 5x112... but what about the other details?

Also, what drop are people running with 19's... my mate has some 40mm springs for sale cheap off his B5 TDI 130 year 2000 (Will they fit?) that i want to fit, but will it be too low for 19's?

Any help appreciated guys as the local places dont seem to know what there on about.

Also the wheels im looking at are the 'ASA AR1' from dub meister.

I think you'll find you require 5*112 PCD rims, and from what I have picked up an ET37 (37 mm offset). I believe the only versions with ET45 (45 mm offset) are the W8 4Motion models. Some models have ET40 fitted.
