    hi Guys

I recently had my golf remapped very happy with it.

My question is i need to get the timing belt done in the next few weeks. Does anyone know if this will affect my new mapping.

    Cheers

i can't think of any reason why it should affect your remap at all.
if the belt is changed correctly then the timing won't change.

so basically its just a case of swapping over the belt, and not touching the ECU. Thats my worry, the last time VW had my car they screwed up my mapping, that is my concern.
