    Hi Guys,

Excuse my ignorance but I'm struggling to find an answer to my specific query . I am looking to add DIS to my A4 B7 (I want to see MPG instead of miles left) however I don't need the full cruise retro fit.
My A4 came with MFSW and cruise fitted so I guess I'm half way there. What do I need to enable the DIS functionality?
My apologies if this has been covered already
    Cheers

Sorry to post in the wrong section, but is this possible with a C5, taking the display and stalk from a B5???

On an A6 C5 the cruise controls are incorporated into the indicator stalk, not on a separate cruise stalk. You will need to get the correct indicator stalk with cruise controls. I'm willing to bet the DIS will be different from the A4 too...

I fitted th DIS stalk today using this and other guides.

The 2 screws holding the steering cowling are 18 torx and it should be mentioned that you need to remove the instrument panel with the 2 t20 torx screws to get to the pin one on the blue connector.

Big thanks to all that have added info on this thread. I may retrofit the cruise in the near future, will be keeping an eye out for the bits needed.

I would definatley recomend doing the DIS retrofit to anyone with basic DIY skills.
I even sorted an intermittent airbag warning light, the yellow connector behind the airbag was slightly loose.
