    Woohoo

After several months of the light flashing and doing my head in it is off. Funny thing is I had set this weekend aside (finally) to take the cluster out and bodge the TPMS light so Dovski you are my hero.

    Thank you

    Hi Guys,
On christmas eve i fitted CC and DIS into my B6 A4 Avant.
I fitted a used Q version of the SCCM and recoded the VIN as stated on the Ross-Tech website.

I have enabled CC and followed all the guides, however i just cannot for the life of me get the ABS module to re-accept the coding.

I have tried many different things, and no matter what i try, the end result is still 00000 on the control module with lots of ABS and ESP warnings on the dashboard.

I know its Christmas etc etc, but would someone please be able to help me out with this?

    Cheers
    Chris

If you are following the instructions correctly, then there must be something wrong with the car. I'm sure you didn't really expect me to answer your email at 22:00 on Christmas Eve but I will answer it later this evening.

Due to the amount of b7 clutch switches failing I now add this to the fitting list so we avoid return visits for fitments.

If the clutch switch is defective you will not notice any running issues or mil lights however the cruise needs to see brake switch, accelerator switch and clutch switch signal.
If one of these is inop then the cruise will not function.

    The switch cost £11.

Its just a nightmare if I have travelled to you and then we find the switch is defective and this spoils the job somewhat.

    Best Regards A8
