DIS AND CRUISE RETRO FIT b6+b7

i'd followed another guide which was the cruise instal(possibly by A4avant?, paying thnaks to A8, Shark*, etc who had provided the originla information)
In it there's the coding for the SCSM to accept cruise and DIS, but as the guide was written for CC only there's nothing in it to code the instruments for DIS.
All sorted now, just walked to TPS and got my repair wire too!

as far as i know no it wont you need the part ending in Q or R

Or N,just fitted on mine,both cruise and dis,I'm sure there is a list on the ross tech website,but can t seem to find it at the moment,I would recommend scanning your car first as you could already have the right one,like I did

you need N, P, R or Q as far as I can remember. S will do DIS but not cruise I think.

Cool, cheers guys, glad i didnt purchase it then! Will have to trawl the scrappies as i dont think i can afford a new one! Theyre 150 ish new arent they?

im new to forum i have put cruise in my 170 2.0 tdi a4 with mfsw control module part no 8E0 953 549 Q

on vcds i can see cruise actiating when i move stalk but it dont work the car there is nothing on dash dis
is there anyone in the north east to take a look at coding i cant see where the problem is i have followed intsructions

not sure where you are geographically. I have a A4B7 CAB and have fitted cruise control stalk. Would you be able to code it for me I am on the Wirral but traveling not an issue.
Also I have invoked an airbag warning light, don't know why, however I did drive it sans airbag to go and get correct spline tool for wheel boss. Any help you can give me would be appreciated.

Airbag light will be on due to disconnecting and turning ignition switch on triggering fault code or insecure slipping contact from removing and refitting airbag
I'm to far away and sure you find some one local to encode address 16 and enable cruise in address 01
