Guys can you help?! See https://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/s...694#post611694

At the w/e fitted my cruise and DIS. Q version SCSM which should support the two, all set up and working so far as I can see. Cruise is working fine but nothing from DIS.
The Part I used was 4E0 953 503 G4PK, supplied by TPS tho I was under the impression I should be using C4PK.
    No fault codes registered.
I coded it 00042, which is avant (rear wiper) with on board computer and cruise.
    Anyone any ideas?
All the ABS system is set up. I've followed the instructions. I have the faults/code log if that's a help.

I'm annoyed the DIS cost me £80 and the Cruise £30, the cruise works and DIS doesn't!

for dis you need to add the code change in address 16 for dis

also you need to change adaption channel 19 in address 17 to enable the function

make sure you earth pin 1 blue connector on the back of the dash to fool the washer level low signal

post all code for address 16 and adaption channel 19 in address 17

Thanks, but sorry A8 you've lost me!
    Add 16 should be 00042?
Add 17 Adpt 19 should be?

    I'm using 409.1

Does the quattro make a difference due to the tank size?

this is what i have at the moment, the steering wheel is done I believe 00042 is correct for cruise and DIS on an avant

sorted, I hadn't coded the instruments to support DIS

my Existing code was 30100. using the noted in this thread i tried 31200 but that came up as an error so I used 31000 and that worked fine. All working now other than the pesky water bottle empty light, but that will soon be sorted.

    Thanks for the help,

    Phil
