Hi i have a set of 18" monza2 BBS rims with continental sport contact 2 tyres on these are unmarked and covered only 1500 miles ,These are honestly as new how much are they worth ?? If anyone is interested they must be collected i am not going to ship them so please dont ask ! .

I have just bought a new set of vw golf BBS edition 30 rims with michelin pilot sport 2 tyres

This is the only reason i am open to offers on the 18" monza 2 wheels

MY wife thought i was mad as christmas was coming and the money would have been handy for presents etc .so i am going to attempt to sell the monzas but to be honest i aint to fussed as they can sit in the garage and i can put them on when im bored of the edition 30s

Please if anyone is interested mail me i live in sussex and the wheels are available from next friday 7th as that is the earliest time i can swap them over thanks for reading my ramblings

I would of stuck with the Monza II wheels. The Edition 30 wheels are a pig to clean!!

Your wheels have got to be worth around £500 - £700 or so I would of thought.

there not worth 500-700. On ebay they sell for around 300-500. Depending on the location of the seller mainly.

The ones on Ebay that sell for that are the copies. The ones that are for sale are Genuine VW wheels with 1500 mile Conti tyres on them?! Tyres alone are worth at least £600....

The wheels new from VW are £275 each!

again you are mistaken. I sold my 17's on ebay which were original for £210. 17's sell for 200-250. Check ebay there is allways a great bargain. I bought the 17's from there for 200 and they were in very very good condition.

18's original ones sell for around 300-500 ....copies 250 to 250. However i didnt really take the condition of the tyres into consideration.

Hi i didnt want to start a argument about the BBS monzas . But if i could only get £500 they aint for sale as the tyres are worth more than that .

For the record i paid a £1000 for the edition 30 s and am more than happy at the price and the bidding was fierce

I will remove the monza 2 on friday and clean them properly and wax them and store them for the winter and swap them as i feel like a change

Last week a set of 18 editions 30 BBS wheels only sold for £880 so i guess mine with michelin pilot 2 were cheap i suppose its what you are happy with and thats what counts

I sold a set of Edition 30 wheels last year and got just over a grand for them so what you paid seems fair.

Like you say its the price of the tyres that costs.

Either wheel is nice, just the Monzas are easier to clean
