Fuel gauge problem. My light comes on at ¼ tank. Anyone know of a way to resolve this problem? If I fill it, it goes way pass full.

Sounds like someone has had the dash apart and bent the needle to deal with a low reading gauge, have you only recently bought the car? This resolves the gauge reading ¼ full when you are sitting at the side of the road with an empty tank, but the low level warning light calibration is way out and when the tank is full, the needle shoots off the end of the scale. The only solution is a new gauge pack or to send it off for repair, which can cost as nearly as much as an exchange pack from Audi before fitting and coding. The only advantage of the repair method is the dash will not need recoding to the car but it means the car is dead for about a week.
