Hi All,

I urgently need someone to answer a VAG-COM Question please?

Today I changed the instrument cluster in my dash without realising I need to register the software to enter the original mileage in the new cluster.
I'm away from home. - If I drive the car with zero miles on the display will I be locked out for ever from entering the correct mileage? ie Will I be stuck with whatever miles I clock up from this point on?

I will have to drive in 1 hours time whatever happens so please reply ASAP.

It has to be under 100 miles on it if you want to roll it foward if you go over that then you will have to use vag tacho or can comander depending on the model of the car.

How did you code the new cluster and keys in without a fully registered version?

It's only a '99 Arosa so it pre dates immobiliser/key coding. Just needed the soft code and mileage correction. All working correctly now!
