    I have a 2000 A4 1.9TDI 115bhp and would like to know what is the best way to remove and change the fuel filter.

    i just had my fuel filter changed on my Audi A4 when i last serviced the car.

    At first when looking at the filter i noticed 3 hoses at the top and thought they need coming off first. My mechanic took a look and realised that the there is a top cap which the 3 hoses join onto. If you hold them steady and then slowly unscrew the cannister (fuel filter) below, the filter should then come off.

    Simply replace the new filter by screwing the filter to the top cap, ensure that the top cap is not twisted as the small hoses may pop open
