    Helpm ,y front nearside (UK) sidelight has expired and I cannot get in to replace the bulb. Can anyone advise me please? It's emabaeaasing as I used to rebuild Land Rover engines as a hobby and I cannot get into my Audi sidelights and I feel old and ashamed of myself

    you obviously have short fat finger syndrome. it is just about possible to get to the n/s bulb holder to give it a twist and pull it out. your probably better off getting someone with long thin fingers to do it for you. failing that just pop the whole headlight unit out, then its really easy. just wait till your o/s bulb needs replacing..

    You're right, I do have short fat fingers and can just about reach the buld holder but not enough to turn it. I think headlight unit out is the answer.

    no worries. it would seem that most blokes into cars also suffer from this syndrome. the ones with long thin fingers all seem to be computer geeks or bankers.good luck with that bulb.

    Should be able to reach if not open bonnet undo the star headed screw on the lower trim beneath headlamp then pop it out of the plastic clip round by the wing under indicator then undo the 4 screws two below headlamp and two above and then the headlamp just comes out plenty room for your FAT fingers LOL
