Fitment of B6 S4 alloys on a B7?

Hi,

As per my sig, I have a 55 plate B7 A4 3.0 TDI S-Line

I'm a big fan of the B6 S4 alloys:



They are: 8Jx18" ET45

Does anybody know if they will:
a. actually fit (correct PCD etc)
b. fit in acccordance with what Audi reccomend (max sizes etc).

They will fit as you can get them on the B7 S4 as well.

PCD is the same and I have ET45 Ronal DTM so you should have no trouble fitting onto an S-Line.

Doh, I keep wishing I'd gone for an Avant! Then again, I'm single at the moment, so all that extra space would be wasted!

Was your RS4 handbrake grip hard to fit? I'm thinking of getting that and the Auto-shift RS4 knob from VAGParts.

The handbrake grip was very easy to fit- PM me when you get and I can run you through it.

Does anybody know what stats 225-45-R18 (for example) these S4 wheels are please?

I'm trying to find out how much tyres cost for them (an easily overlooked expense when eyeing-up new wheels!)

I'm a fan of Pirelli P-Zeros and Contisport Contact 3's. I've been warned away from "Dunflops" (Dunlops) by a tyre fitter because they disfigure prematurely (they did on my S6).

Is there any truth in that or do you think tyre fitters just slate whatever they don't have on special offer that month?
