Does it have a PD TDI engine?

I bought my T5 van which... sounded like a... noisy van... but after putting proper (and expensive) Shell PD oil in it, it nows runs quieter.

    Just a thought.

That's not a PD engine, it's an older VE type. PD's were introduced in 2000ish with the ATJ 115 BHP, like I've got.

Regular oil and filter changes, as has been said, do improve things.
Nothing to see here, move along..

    An AFN isn't PD.

Do you have a blowing exhaust?
