When I was a student I had to go to the local garage and get a cheap drive-through wash there. Then I'd go to a quiet car park, make sure the bits of dirt that got missed were gone with a bottle of water and rag, dry with a chamois, then wax it. Probably looked a bit odd to others, but I was faced with that or a messy car.

Id go for the Bucket method .. this is what i used to use when i lived at a terraced hose .. the mrs wouldnt have me karting a hose pipe through the house with cream carpets .. fair does really ..

Wash the car a cpl of times witha bucket of water then dry using a window cleaning drying blade and a towel ..

Taking care and atention that each individual panel is super tidy ..

Then you can get on to waxing it .. I normally polish it first iff it hasnt been done for a while ..

give it a wasx a few days later to seal that shine ...
