creaking rear suspension

hi everyone, have a4 1.8 se petrol saloon year 2000 x reg
problem rear suspension on nearside really creaks like a unoiled door when passengers get into the car unnoticeable when driving, if a park on steep incline the noise is more apparent after h/brake is applied. looked underneath springs are covered so difficult to see.
car sits well with no evidence of broken spring. i can get the noise if i press up/down very hard on the rear end
any ideas?

I had the same problem on my car which turned out to be the rear axle bushes
