Alpine OR Pioneer??!!!

Right i guess this will generate some debate, but which headunit, i cant decide. Alpine iDA-x100 or Pioneer DEH-P7000UB.

I like Alpine coz of the ipod control function and screen, but ive used Pioneer for years.

Has anyone got either, like to know what you think!!

Depends if you need CD playback or not the Alpine is Ipod only whereas the Pioneer does both.

not to fussed on cd playback, more worried about audio quality. My S3 has the bose amp'd system, just want a good clean sound.

Does using an aftermarket stereo use the Bose system fully or just the speakers ?

mine has a adapter which enables you to use the bose system with aftermarket units.

I've always had them ever since the days when you pulled the whole unit out of the dash

wouldnt have anything else in my cars.

Have fitted virtually every other make over the years but still prefer me Alpines

I have sold, fitted and owned both brands, go for the alpine, the sound quality is top notch, plus they have many functions allowing you fine tune the sound you want. Hope this helps
