  1. No Red Flashing Alarm Light on Door

    Hi Folks

Have noticed that the little red flashing alarm light on top of door no longer lights up after activating the alarm ie locking door.

I have spent about 30 minutes going thru this forums previous postings but cannot find exactly the same issue (although plenty of alarm problems!!)

The closest I can find relates to a boot/bonnet sensor fault. Any suggestions how I can either confirm or eliminate this as the cause OR any other ideas?

Many thanks to one and all,

    Jaba

Hi Many thanks for the reply.

Sorted. The boot lid was not properly closed so in fact the system was telling me that which I should have checked.
    - Clever things these cars. just wish they ran on water !!

    Hi there,

I've got the same problem, althought this occured after I changed the window regulator on the door. I thought all cables were connected though when i put everything back in there. Is this possibly related to a fuse?

    Thanks

I'd say you forgot to plug it in, small 2 pin plug covered in foam easy to miss, easy to check.
