can any one help im after an audi gearbox Ecu!

as above,my mum spilt a pan of soup in the foot well and apparetly this is where the gearbox Ecu is,audi have quoted 630 for the ECU.and it will take two weeks to arrive! does anyone know where i can get a second hand part or a cheaper qoute then audi!

failing that, google audi breakers or ebay search for someone breaking a similar model to yours.

You don't mention that it has actually failed. If not, just get the carpets up, clean everything, dry it, and hope it's OK. If it has failed you will be able to get a cheap second hand one, but make sure it's exactly the right one.

it has deffo failed the gear box ecu and con ecu, costing just over a grand
tried loads of specialised scrap yards,non of them have it,the ecu part number was replaced on the all road in 2004 so older ecu wont fit!
