well, the outside would need 2x new front wings & fittings & 2x whole rear quarter panels... which is gonna be pricey for a start mate!
*if* you can actually get the wings for the s3 they're about £140 per side...
they're *quite* hard to get unless you're in the trade too, unless you know someone in the trade who could get them in for you...

the interiors you can pick up on the bayoftheE for £500 upwards...
my advice would be to go & have a look at it too before purchasing, you know what folks on that site are like *RARE* *MINT CONDITION* etc,etc

dunno about the clocks/heating anc's tbh...

    good luck!

Clocks are matched to ECU’s & keys… If you wanna change the clocks you’ll need to take the ECU & keys from the vehicle as well. This in it’s self will cause all sorts of issues as I’m pretty sure you wont be able to use an S3 ECU with a tdi…

Also if you want proper climate control (i.e. air con) then your looking at a massive & unnecessary job and would probably be cheaper to drive to the south pole and bring back a life time supply of ice…

My mate did an S3 exterior transplant and it cost soooooooooooooo much to do. Your looking at a few grand for the parts then you gotta find some one with the balls to weld the rear arches in…

    GOOD LUCK! ! !

Basically the only things that are the same on the two cars are the doors, bonnet, boot and glass. Pretty much everything else is bespoke for the S3. The interior will fit which is a nice upgrade but they are two different cars altogether really.

the top spec audi a3 is the 2.0 tfsi or the 3.2 v6 the 2.0 has 200 bhp and the 3.2 has around 240 bhp. the s3 is a 2.0 turbo and has 265 bhp lowered slightly, s3 bodywork spoiler n different alloys. very easily tuned as well, a simple bluefin chip on it can make it put out over 300 and its also 4 wheel drive.

Aircon can be fitted, lots of work though. You need to have all the wiring diagrams too over and above the complete airbox (it contains evapourator, electric motors and heater fan), control panel, facial etc. You will also need to cut a hole in a plate attached to the bulkhead to take the aircon pipes into the engine bay. Unless you can get a donor with all the parts It will be even bigger nightmare.

The S3 clocks can be fitted and coded by Audi if you can get the right ones for your model. The easy way to tell the difference is does yours have a digital or analogue clock? Most S3's were facelift and had a digital clock - the wiring and immob is different to the pre-facelift that has an analogue clock and while the wires can be relocated to match, im fairly sure the immob cant be coded to work.

I would look out for the parts CD - ETKA and repair manual - ElsaWin, both can be purchased of ebay. Without either you will struggle.
