Hi I am having hard peddle brake problems with MK4 golf TDI.I have changed the vac hoses, tested the vac pump OK but not sure as the problem is intermittent. As future work will be necessary, could anyone advise whether to purchase a pressure or vacuum brake bleed system.Thanks.

i don't think it's as easy as that.
please try the search facility because i'm sure i read on here just the other day, that bleeding the brakes involves the electronic / diagnostic kit somewhere along the line.

Hi, thanks for advice, have read more about brake bleeding,it seems alright for simple jobs as long as no air taken in master cylinder.Major jobs.abs pump, master cylinder, servo,is best left to the expert.I Will change the vac pump and if not successful take to VW dealer. Thanks.
