disable alarm

Hi

I have looked in manual and there does not seem to be a way to temp disable alarm.
Is there anyway to disable just the interior alarm sensors ?
Or to disable completely ?

I cant take my dogs out anywhere I need to lock the car at mo.

Its a 1997 A4 TDI

[Gavant Quattro]

there should be a button on the inner B post trim at the side of the drivers seat, this disables the interior sensors I believe, not sure how, I can't find my handbook at the minute, sure it will tell you somewhere in yours.

and it was in the manual
