    I have a 2004 130 TDI Passat, it idles at about 500 revs, i was wondering if this is correct or what is the correct idling speed?

    Is that an auto ? Iddling speed can be adjusted only with diagnostic equipment...500 rpm is way too low, it should be 800-900 rpm.

    Thank you very much for your help, turned out it was just me that could not count, i thought each line indicated 100 rpm but it turns out it is 200 rpm, which means that my car is idling at 800 rpm which is within the normal range.
    Whoops, my mistake
