    I think my bearing in the front lhd wheel has gone... keeps making a funny noise all the time. How easy are they to fit?

    you will need to get the hub of by splitting the track rod end then undoing the drivestaft nut also the front leg bolts will need undoing once the front hub is off the bearing will need heating up then the bearing will need to be pressed out the reverse to fit bearing in better off letting a local garage do the work my mate only charged me £40.00 quid vindis vw wanted £120.00 with the vat

    The hub nuts need torqueing up a lot aswell (off the top of my head I think it's about 250 lb/ft), I agree better off getting a garage to do it.
