Starter Motor Solenoid

Hi All,
Has any one had problems with the stater solenoid, every now and then I turn the key to start up and I get the click of the soleniod energizing but nothining else, try again and it fires up no problem, I dont think its the battery because it only happens occasionally, which leads me to the believe the problem is with the solenoid contacts. Can you buy to solenoid on its own, Im thinking this would be a lot cheaper than the whole unit?
