shame the house is such a 'lottery winner' pad, no wonder he is having trouble selling, it looks crap, car looks nice though.

I think you missed at the right price especially in the credit crunch, the property has been on the market for over 3 months and he has discounted by £50k plus added a second hand car even If a Lambo.
