T4 Engine Rebuild

Hi Gents,

I expect this will be the first of many posts and maybe a step by step thread about my first diesel engine rebuild.
My 1.9 TD engine let go on me a couple of weeks ago with a suspected bottom end.
Lost all my oil in a short space of time just after converting the van to run on veggie oil.
I had only put 40ltrs of veg oil through the engine and whilst this was worrying i am ruling the veg oil out as the cause of the problem at the moment. No oil was evident on the ground where i leave my van so im guessing it went down the exhaust pipe.

Anyway thats a brief history. My van is up and running again with a second hand engine and i am starting the rebuild on the blown engine.

I'm intending to buy a rotating engine stand as machine mart have deals on 2 at the moement, one heavier duty than the other. The lighter one being capable of taking 230kg.

My question is does anyone know the weight of a complete 1.9 td with engine code ABL. So that i can determine if the lighter stand will be strong enough.
