Hi All,

I changed the MAF on my 1999 Bora 2.0SE a couple of days ago. After driving less than a mile the temp gauge shot up to about 120 and the STOP sign told me to "Check Coolant".

When I checked the coolant tank it looked empty, so I filled it up to MAX and drove on. After another couple of miles I got the same STOP sign, so I pulled over (noticing that the heater was blowing cold). When I popped the bonnet there was steam coming from the underside of the coolant tank and the radiator was making a bubbling noise.

Since this, I have put a good 5-6 litres of water in the tank to try and find out where the water is going but it appears to be coming from the bottom of the tank only.

I have checked the oil filler cap and that looks ok, and there are no signs of power loss or smoke from the exhaust.

Any ideas??

Any help would be appreciated.
