I currently have a mk3 gti 8v and have owned it two years. Just recently i have found the car very un inspiring to drive and i hate to say it, i'm getting a bit bored of it! Don't really want to sell the car as it's done next to no miles and it's been in the family since new! am looking to go 220 bhp so what are my options?
There's no i in team, but there is me!

Without spending silly money on it there isn't really much you can do at all.

As no doubt you already know the only real options would be to flog it and get a MK3 valver, MK3 VR6 or for a few more quid a MK4 1.8t or a MK4 4mo.

If you want 220hp the MK4 1.8t route will allow this most easily and more importantly cheaply.
