    i am having trouble finding a rear right hand side engine/ gearbox mount for my mk3 gti 8v. a have searched evrywhere for it and cant seem to find the right one. i know roughly what it looks like as i have removed the one from my car. PLEASE HELP!!!!

    The right hand mount is for the engine only, the left is for the gearbox on and the centre front mount is for both. I presume you mean the left mount behind the box as the handing of a part is indicated by its position as looking from the inside of the car forward. The mount varies from car to car but is easy to get from VW or any VAG parts specialists. By “having trouble finding” do you actually mean cheap? The mount you need is 357 199 402 B and from VW this costs £50 but significantly less from companies like GSF.

    GSF will have the right one on the shelves, just take the old one down with you and you shouldn't go wrong.
