An interesting finish to the race at Spa this afternoon, with Raikkonen spinning off out of it and now seemingly out of the title race too. Shame, he had great scrap with Hamilton there, but couldn't handle the increasing wet track. Good tactics by Heidfeld and Alonso to secure 3rd and 4th respectively. Wouldn't be surprised to see either of them in a Ferrari seat before long.

thats utter crap that is. lewis had to avoid kimi by going over the escape road and ended up infront of kimi. Lewis straight away eased off to allow kimi to retake the lead before the start / finish line. Lewis then legitametly re passed kimi.

imo the stewards have got it seriously wrong or are taking secret payments from ferrari or malcQV

I'm no fan of Hamilton's but I reckon he was stitched up here, as far as I can see it was a legitimate move, as he let Raikkonen pass.

Sadly the FIA are very much 'pro-Ferrari'- as far as they're concerned they can do no wrong... hence Hamilton is penalised and the championship is once again tightened up.

Fair enough... Lewis did cut the corner, but more so to avoid taking his rival out... where else was he meant to go? Lewis has already proven his skill and ability in the rain (Silverstone...) and would have got past Kimi regardless. Once again though the FIA want to manipulate the championship to ensure it goes down to the wire and guarantee better viewing figures in the last few races and keep the money rolling in to bank roll Bernie Eccelstone.....

Don't watch it much since the switch to ITV1 because ot the commercials mainly, but its coming back to the BBC next year, so might start watching it again.
Plus the commentators bore me senselss as they don't seem to have the same enthusiasm as Murray Walker had.

If you cast your mind back a few years, you will recall a certain individual who, unlike Lewis Hamilton, did not try to avoid his rival in a similar corner but shunted Damon Hill up the rear end and put him out of the race.
No prizes then for guessing who he was and which team he drove for.
No doubt as Lewis continues to home in on a well deserved title, certain forces will be determined to prevent him from doing so.
The enjoyment will be much the greater when he does win it, because he will have done so despite the efforts of those who are not interested in fair play and sportsmanship.
