All over the weekend there has been convoys of classic Healeys , Stags, MGB's , etc and a few old WW2 American Army trucks flooding right past my front door on their way to a show at the South of England Rare Breeds Centre just down the lane, lovely way to spend a while sat in the garden with a cold beer just watching the beauties go rumbling by.

Was at a local meet last night at the VW dealers, Bury St Edmonds when a rubbling noise came in the car park belonging to a standard looking RS6 but it was pushing 736BHP....Very nice

On two occasions now I have spotted two seperate groups of four new XJ model Jaguars, the first 4 all running together on the M20 on '59 plates around a month ago.
I didn't know what they were but then last Friday saw another 4 in the services on the M20 junction 8 all on German plates, so when I got home I 'googled 'new jaguar' and had a good read.
As much as I've always thought the old XJ was just gorgeous considering the basic style hasn't changed much in a million years,I have to say that the new XJ is just stunning, have a look.

Outside a house near me that normally has two (yes two) Aston Martins there was a Lamborghini and a Ferrari yesterday.
Then driving through Northallerton coming the other way was so many Triumphs I lost count - Mostly TR4s, 5s and 6s but I did see one TR7 convertible.

    Good weekend's car spotting

THis morning followed a Ferrari California down the A1 for 10 miles, lovely sound when opened the taps.

Saw a Lamborghini Gallardo in Penrith on Saturday in grey, boring colour but somehow suited it.

Then on Friday night travelling home past 8 old fire engines obviously on a raly of some sort, including 2 Land Rover conversions and a 70s/80s Simon Snorkel.

Sad I may be, but it brightened my trip home....
Nothing to see here, move along..

excuse the crap pictures, but the car was moving so quickly, I struggled to get a picture

Twin exit tailpipes, coffee table spoiler for some serious downforceage - must be an R32 lump in there

Saw an R32 today- also a mark iv, blacked out windows and a tiny bit chavvy. It was gorgeous though and in great condition. What made it really cool was that it was an unmarked police car! It had pulled some poor sod over presumably for speeding. Saw the blue lights in the front grill & rear window as I passed them.

Them traffic cops have all the fun! Very difficult to spot when they drive cars like this!
